        Sharing on April 7th in the Philippines Dory's Birthday 2024

    Dory would like to share with us about her 80th Birthday that she celebrated on April 7th
in the Philippines. Before her birthday she had been praying hard that she would be able
to buy 80 sacks of rice to give out to the people on her birthday. Dory said that Jesus
and Our Blessed Mother are very good because someone in her group sponsored the
rice for her to give away on her birthday.
    Dory niece was planning her birthday party and Dory asked her to tell the people not
to bring any gifts. Dory said that some people who could afford it brought cake. She said
that she received 16 birthday cakes that day. Dory had brought 500 plates to feed the
people coming to the party. Dory asked to see the food that they would prepare but she
thought to herself that this would not be enough food. Dory prayed and said, "Lord, I
believe that You are always with us. Please give us the seven loaves and five fish."
Dory said that everyone was fed and some people even took food home and they ran
out of plates and went to buy more. They estimated that they fed around 600 people that
day. Dory said that for her that was a big miracle that she received on her birthday.
Everyone left the party happy that day because they also gave the people groceries like
canned food and coffee and for the vey poor Dory gave sacks of rice. Our Blessed Mother
was very happy ad said to Dory, "What you did was so beautiful because people usually
receive gifts for their birthday but intead you gave gifts away."
    Another custom in the Philippines for people that can afford it is to give a bouquet of money
to the person having a birthday. Dory's children from Canada gave this to Dory for her birthday
consisting of 80. one thousand pesos. The people didn't think that Dory would give this away
because most people keep this for themselves but Dory let the children pick one each from the
bouqet so that they would each go home with 1000 pesos.
    Dory would like to thank her family, her group and all of the people that support our Mission
because since she was a little girl and she too had to stand in line to get food for her family, she
has prayed to Our Blessed Mother asking Her that one day that she would be able to come back and
give out food to her people. Through the help from all of you, you have made her dream come true.
    In the year 2001 Dory was praying at the church of Our Lady of Consolation when she received
a message from Our Blessed Mother that She wanted her to do the Mission that was her childhood
dream. Dory asked Our Blessed Mother, "How can I do this? Where will I get the money?" Our Blessed
Mother replied, "Do not worry, it will happen." Since 2001 until present day Dory has been doing this
Mission with the help from her family, her group and all of the people supporting our Mission. Dory said
that this is the will of God, He has brought all of us together.
    After Dory's birthday she continued doing Mission and the temperature in the Philippines climbed to
49 degrees celsius and in some areas as high as 52 degrees. People were told to stay in their homes,
especially seniors. Dory has a wall mount air conditioner in her home but it wasn't working and it couldn't
be fixed so she decided to go and by a new one, When Dory was at the store with her nephew and he was
looking at which air conditioner to buy Dory heard like a wind in her ear and it came to her mind that she wasn't
going to buy an air conditioner but instead she would buy electric fans to give out to the people who couldn't
afford to buy one. With the money she was able to buy 24 fans. Dory shared with a member of her group
that she, instead of buying an air conditioner for herself, instead bought fans to give to the people. When
this person heard this they gave money for Dory to go out and buy an air conditioner. When Dory thought
about going to buy the new air conditioner she thought to herself how nice it would be to help more people
so she went and this time with the money she was able to buy 25 fans, Now she had 49 fans to give to the
people. Dory said that she explained to the person that gave her the money and they understood. That day
a lady came to her door and asked if she could have one of the fans for her mother because she was on
oxygen and was having trouble breathing so Dory gave her a fan. The next day Dory's old air conditioner
started to work and it continued to work for the remainder of her stay.
    On May 25th Dory was feeling a little down because since she arrived in the Philippines in March people
have been coming to her door non stop asking for help. That day Dory felt that she couldn't do this anymore
and she said that she wanted to quit because she felt that they had already done enough for the people.
When Dory said this she heard a voice say, "Don't let the enemy destroy you. When you pray you
always ask Me to continue counting. If you stop, how can I continue My counting? Many people
in this world are counting themselves. I am not the one counting." Dory said that she knew right away
that this was the voicie of Santo Nino. She knew what He meant because many people have the means to
help others but they are not willing to share what they have and help their brothers ans sisters. After hearing
this from Santo Nino , Dory knelt down and asked for forgiveness for feeling this way. Santo Nino said to her,
"I know what you feel. You are always thinking of your group and your neighbours who are helping
support this Mission. You are always thinking that they will not believe you and all that you are doing.
Me, I am the one seeing you and all that you are doing. Do not worry. Don't let me stop counting. If
you stop. I am not able to count anymore."
    On the following day May 26th when Dory was at Mass she received two hosts at Communion time. When
she realized that she had two bodies of Jesus on her tongue she prayed and said, "Lord, what is the meaning
of this?" The Blessed Mother was the one who answered her and said, "My child this is the answer for all
that you are doing. This second host is for all of the people that are suppporting you." Dory said that
she also felt this was the reason and as soon as she realized that she had two bodies of Jesus she offered
this second one for all of her group and all of the people around her. Dory then promised to herself and said,
"Lord, as long as you want me to, I am here for You to count what I am doing, Lord if I only have one penny
to give I know you will be couinting that penny." Dory wants us to know that God is counting all that we are
doing as well,. He will continue to count until we reach Heaven, Don't let him stop counting.
    Dory ends by saying;`"God bless us all and God willing I will see you in Martmora for Our Blessed
Mother's Birthday September 8th."
